Past history of Tabriz International Exhibition Co.

A look at the history of human civilization, shows us that trades & commercial ties among countries of different origin have impacted on the advancement of different civilizations and cultures to a great extend.

In this theme , province of East  Azarbaijan with its

capital city of Tabriz, having an essential role within the geopolitical  frameworks of our country, has always taken glorious steps in introducing higher capabilities.

TIEC was established in 1990 with extensive efforts of regional manufacturers and businessmen, with the aim of acting as a pivoting point for commercial activities, introduction of high quality products and bringing business people together under one roof, by organizing national and international exhibitions. After 3 years of working in rented pavilions, TIEC decided to build its permanent exhibition grounds with up to date standards. And finally during the development year of Tabriz, "Tabriz 94", TIEC was able to inaugurate its private exhibition grounds, concurrent with the opening ceremony of the 2^nd International General Trade Fair of Iran - Tabriz. This achievement was a considerable step forward in the economy of our dear country, since it motivated the non-oil export levels of the region, considerably.

Important geographical location of Tabriz, prolific historical wealth of commercial exchanges and transition of Silk Road through this region are some very important factors in the success of national and international exhibitions organized at TIEC exhibition site, and a turning point in our slogan; "Tabriz will become the exhibition city of Iran". As mentioned before province of East Azarbaijan is benefiting from important geographical location, this is due to having boarders with republic of Turkey, republic of Azarbaijan and republic of Nakhjavan. This region is actually known as the gateway to Europe and CIS countries. TIEC being located in the city of Tabriz, the capital of East Azarbaijan province, obviously must and is offering the best exhibition facilities and organizations in the country.

Today with 9 pavilions, 40/000 S.Q.M of indoor area, 15000 S.Q.M of open exhibition area, all convenience facilities, special services such as customs clearance for foreign participants, we believe that we are No. 1 as far as exhibitions are concerned, in Iran.
