SHOARA ((POETS)) CEMETERY

The cemetery is the resting place of many famous Iranian poetry, mystics, scientists and theologians. Bodies of Assadi Tousi, Khaqani Shervani, Zahir, Fariabi, Qatran Tabrizi, Mohammad Shirin Maghrebi, Homam Tabrizi, Salman Savaji, Falaki Shervani, Qazi Beizavi and the celebrated contemporary poet of Tabriz, the late Mohammad Hussein Shahryar are buried in this cemetry.
